Join Colorado Railroad Museum Curator of Education & Exhibits to explore “Small Wonders” from the Museum’s collection as part of the new “Still Working On The Railroad” initiative. Each segment will focus on different items from the Colorado Railroad Museum’s collection.

In this episode we explore the subject of trains in children’s literature. Children’s books purposely appeal to a child’s sense of adventure and play. They also provide opportunities to teach values, morals and good work habits. Trains proved to be a natural for this approach to storytelling, providing a way to help young readers deal with an ever-changing world.

In 2021 the Museum is operating socially distanced train rides each Saturday! Follow us on Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter.
