LEARN AND EXPLORE

Stories, crafts, educational tours and interactive experiences highlight the fun and exciting learning opportunities available at the Colorado Railroad Museum!

SCOUT DAY

10am-2pm
Saturday October 16, 2021 (RSVP by end-of-day Monday October 11, 2021 to receive a Badge & Certificate)

$14 per participant (uniforms encouraged, includes a ride)

Join us for a fun day of Scout related activities including talking with historic railroad workers like an engineer or telegrapher, visiting the Museum’s railyard featuring different types of rail cars, exploring the tools used by the railroad and how to lay track. Participants can also hear railroad stories and send a message in Morse code, learn about railroad signaling using lanterns, whistles & horns! We will also look at the different scales used in model railroading. And of course, take a historic train ride!

Register online for Scout Day activities here.
