On Track for Colorado Gives Day
Thanks to your continued support, we are Still On Track at the Colorado Railroad Museum!
Although the past 18 months have been difficult for all of us, the Museum has never been more committed to our mission of bringing Colorado’s rich railroad heritage to life. In spite of the Pandemic, we have restored historic steam locomotives back to operation, created engaging new exhibits, and expanded our cultural partnerships to help inform future interpretive efforts.
In addition, we’ve provided Train Rides throughout the year, grown our school and adult tour programming, generated hours of fascinating on-line content, and safely hosted special events like Day Out With Thomas™ and THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride. Our goal remains simple: We strive to bring our community together and make history more accessible to everyone.
On top of all this progress, our visitation has returned to 90% of pre-pandemic numbers and our patrons have expressed gratitude for the safe and welcoming environment we’ve continued to provide. We even traveled one of our vintage steam locomotives offsite this year to pull a series of special excursions. However, to continue this momentum we urgently need your support!
December 7, 2021 is Colorado Gives Day
Last year, Coloradans rallied to raise more than $50 million for Colorado non-profit organizations like the Colorado Railroad Museum. Even better, these funds were augmented by the Community First Foundation’s incentive fund! You can help by going online now at https://www.coloradogives.org/coloradorailroadmuseum/ and scheduling your donation.
We look forward to another year filled with accomplishment, and we remain grateful for your continued encouragement and support. Thank you for helping to keep us Still On Track at the Colorado Railroad Museum!
