In honor of Colorado Crossings returning to the Museum this weekend, we’re looking back at the magnificent parade of Geese and Steam from last year’s event! But what would you say if we mentioned this year’s event will be EVEN MORE action-packed?!
For 2026, not only will this 9:30 a.m. daily parade feature the Museum’s flock of Rio Grande Southern (RGS) Galloping Geese, but also Denver & Rio Grande Western (D&RGW) steam locomotive No. 491, PLUS Florence & Cripple Creek (F&CC) alumni RGS No. 20 AND D&RGW No. 315 both under steam, with the latter currently on loan from the Durango Railroad Historical Society!
