To commemorate our 60th anniversary, the Colorado Railroad Museum has partnered with Foothills Art Center to present an exhibition highlighting the artistry and talent of industrial designer Otto Kuhler.
Famous for his prolific career designing train engines, Kuhler brought the modern aesthetic of the art deco movement to the rail. You will see items from Kuhler’s entire artistic lifespan, starting when he was just a boy in Germany, on up to his twilight years out in Colorado. Foothills Art Center is located at 809 15th Street in downtown Golden, just a quick 5-minute drive from the Railroad Museum.
Colorado Railroad Museum Members receive free admission to see this exhibit. Foothills Art Center Members will receive free admission to Colorado Railroad Museum while the exhibit is on view.
Exhibit Opening Reception for Colorado Railroad Museum Members on Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 6:00PM-8:00PM.
