It’s #TBT and for Throwback Thursday we have the final batch of photos from Museum volunteer George Lawrence, taken on his trip to the 2016 “Narrow Gauge Rendezvous” in August of that year. George started the day off by taking some parting shots of the Museum’s “Galloping Goose” No. 7 in the Chama yard. Next he took a break from driving and captured images of the San Luis Rio Grande equipment in Alamosa, CO. While traveling through the South Park valley he had to pull over for a passing summer hail storm! In Como George took photos of the depot, general store, an old saloon and the old roundhouse. George’s final images of the trip capture “historic” buildings in Jefferson, CO.
