The Colorado Railroad Museum is open Tuesday-Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but during the Holiday Season it’s a good idea to check ahead as we will be CLOSED for a few special dates:
NOVEMBER 2023
Wednesday, November 22: The Museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., CLOSING EARLY this day.
Thursday, November 23 (Thanksgiving): The Museum will be CLOSED.
DECEMBER 2023
Sunday, December 24 (Christmas Eve): The Museum will be CLOSED.
Monday, December 25 (Christmas Day): Closed on Mondays.
Sunday, December 31 (New Year’s Eve): The Museum will be CLOSED.
JANUARY 2023
Monday, January 1 (New Year’s Day): Closed on Mondays.
Remember, sometimes the weather outside can be frightful, and we are a mostly outdoor Museum. Freshly fallen snow can be delightful, but if it’s snowing heavily or if a big snowfall event has just ended, please call ahead to make sure we’re open: (303) 279-4591 (Tues-Sun 9 a.m.-5 p.m.)
Saturday Train Rides DO NOT operate in November, December, and early January. They will resume in mid-January 2024. Happy Holidays!
