Time for a new “Big Train Tour!” Each tour will focus on a different piece of historic equipment in the Colorado Railroad Museum’s collection.
This month, we’ll be taking a look at the Museum’s roundhouse, one of its most unique and important facilities. We’ll also explore the history of the railroad roundhouse for perspective. Today, this building is a beehive of activity year-round, maintaining the Colorado Railroad Museum’s collection of steam and diesel locomotives, and also its entire collection of other rail vehicles, too.
