It’s #TBT (Throwback Thursday)!
It’s #TBT (Throwback Thursday)! Today we have home movie footage from Museum volunteer George Lawrence.
George, still an active volunteer, often filmed at the Museumin the mid-70s on a handheld 8mm camera. Ken Barrows, affectionately nicknamed “Father Goose” was able to get Rio Grande Southern “Galloping Goose” No. 2 running. This motivated the volunteers & staff to move the goose from it’s disconnected display track onto the main line.
In 2021 the Museum is operating socially distanced train rides each Saturday! Follow us on Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter.
