SCOUT DAYS
Saturday, October 14, 2023 – The Colorado Railroad Museum is welcoming Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, Cub Scouts, Brownies, Explorers and their families to enjoy special scouting-specific activities. From 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. this day, learn safety around railroads with Operation Lifesaver and hone your skills in model railroading with the Denver Garden Railway Society and Denver HO Model Railroad Club.
You’ll also experience history with a ride behind a real locomotive, challenge your railroad signal knowledge, experience the monstrous size of a “Tunnel Motor” diesel locomotive, meet a railroad employee, participate in Amtrak history, and plan a trip! Special pricing applies this day (train ride included for scouts and their leaders in uniform). Trains operate between 10 a.m.-3 p.m. this day.
Scout Admission: $7. Leader Admission (in Uniform): $4. Adult Admission: $14. All Scout Day tickets include a ride.
