Read Across America Day!

Grab your passports and join us for a storybook adventure as we celebrate our first, Read Across America Day at the Colorado Railroad Museum! Immerse yourselves in the rich history of railroads by exploring classic train stories during your train ride and inside our historic rail cars throughout the museum’s grounds. You and your family can also visit our upper gallery where you can create your own storybook to bring home! Featured books include, Dr. Seuss’s Green Eggs and Ham, stories from Thomas the Tank Engine’s collection, Donald Crews’ Freight Train, Marian Potter’s The Little Red Caboose, even excerpts from the Harry Potter series featuring the Hogwarts Express will be enjoyed!
Admission: $10 adults, $5 kids 2-17, $8 seniors (60+). Museum members and children under age 2 are free.
Train Rides: $4 adults, $2 kids 2-17. Museum members and children under age 2 are free.
