Looking for One-Time/Full-Time Event Volunteers

The Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, CO is looking for a couple of volunteers:

Trick or Treat Train
With the event just 2 weeks away, we are looking for your help. Volunteer positions are available on Volgistics helping with:
     -Set-up and Tear Down – Help us spookify the museum with cobwebs, spiders creepy crawlies and inflatables. If you have large, outdoor decorations to donate, the museum is hoping to ramp up our Halloween themed grounds.
     -Will Call and Welcome Attendants – Volunteers are needed to help us check in guests for member and presale ticket lists and hand out goodie bags at the gate.
     -Train Service and Boarding Area Support – The boarding area is the most crucial place for us to maintain appropriate social distancing, create good line management, and help our visitors off and on the train.
     -Car Attendants – We are looking for volunteers to help manage our haunted rail car adventure. This year we are creating a walk through experience in our UP Dining and Coach cars. Help us direct visitors, maintain lines, and scare the visitors ^_^
     -Stationed Volunteers – We are looking for volunteers both stationed and roaming to help keep tabs on the event. Stationed volunteers take on an area of the museum to help with basic cleaning and maintenance, visitor information, and COVID protocol enforcement.

Polar Express
Our annual Polar Express Train Ride event will be happening November 3^rd through December 23^rd and we are looking for one time event volunteers to help with:
     -Set-up and Tear Down – Help us decorate the grounds with Christmas wreaths, lights, props and garland. If you have large, outdoor decorations to donate, the museum is looking for additional large Christmas outdoor decorations.
     -Welcome Attendants – Volunteers are needed to help us check in guests, take presale orders and help out in our Merchandise Tent.
     -Ushers – We are looking for volunteers who will help arrange tables, clean and sanitize the pavilion between shows and take out trash at the end of the night. Ushers get to watch the Polar Express Act 1 while on shift.
     -Exit Attendants – Volunteers help collect lanyards at the end of the show, keep our Gift Shop stocked and tidy and bid farewell to our guests as they depart.
