What is Amtrak Residency?
Amtrak Residency was designed to allow creative professionals who are passionate about train travel and writing to work on their craft in an inspiring environment. Round-trip train travel is provided on an Amtrak long-distance route. Each resident has use of a private sleeping roomette, equipped with a desk, a bed and a window to watch the American countryside. Admission includes 2 beverages of your choice: beer, wine or soda and snacks. Doors open at 5:30PM for early enjoyment of Museum displays and the presentation starts promptly at 6:30PM. Presentation length varies by event and the doors close at 8:00PM.
