New Rider Car Project
Work continues to progress on the New Rider Car project in Stall No. 2. This car is being built from a flat car that once carried “ribbon rail.” This is ideal as these flat cars “sit” lower to the ground than other flat cars and line-up just right with the Museum’s current operating equipment. The sheet metal side panels have been manufactured and attached to the car. If all goes well the Museum will build two additional rider cars after the first is completed.
