Friday Steam Up

The Colorado Railroad Museum is celebrating the 37th Annual National Narrow Gauge Convention by offering optional rides behind a historic narrow gauge steam locomotive.
Friday: Ride behind Denver & Rio Grande Western Steam Locomotive No. 491, the largest operating narrow gauge locomotive in service. Guests also have the unique opportunity to purchase private ride tickets for the recently restored D&RGW Business Car No. B-8. Rides operate 10:00AM to 4:00PM.
Also on Friday, author Stan Rhine will be at the Museum in the morning to sign copies of his books, Tin Feathers, Wooden Trestles & Iron Men and 30 Days-20 Bucks. If you are unable to attend the event, place a order online for either (or both) titles before 11:00AM Friday, September 1, 2017 to receive a signed copy.
Admission: Museum Members and Children under 2 are free, Children $5, Adults $10, and Seniors $8.
Ride Tickets: Adults (16+) $4, Children (2-15) $2. Museum members receive $1 discount per ticket.
D&RGW Business Car B-8 Tickets: $50. B-8 rides depart at 12:00PM, 1:00PM & 2:00PM Friday & Saturday, September 1 & 2, 2017. B-8 tickets are valid for 1 hour and include two full rides in the car.
Ride & admission tickets are available for purchase at the door, no reservations required. D&RGW Business Car No. B-8 tickets are limited and available in advance or at the door while supplies last (order advance B-8 tickets here).
