Behind the Scenes Tour: Dishin’ on Dishes

Richard Luckin is not only a distinguished railroad historian, documentarian and author he also co-curated the Colorado Railroad Museum’s current exhibit showcasing pieces from its permanent collection along with some choice examples from Luckin’s own private collection. Luckin literally wrote the book on railroad china – Dining on the Rails and has an encyclopedic knowledge of the topic. Railroad aficionados and china collectors alike will enjoy this in-depth tour of the Museum’s Just Dishy exhibit.
Admission: $20 members, $25 non-members.
Behind the Scenes Tours offer visitors the opportunity to explore a specific topic in detail with an expert guide. Groups are kept small to foster better conversations. Space is limited to 15 openings, reservations required by Wednesday February 7, 2018. Tour departs at 1:30PM Tuesday February 13, 2018. Tour length varies by presenter and subject matter. Wear appropriate footwear.
