Theatre Or and Mizel Arts & Culture Center team up to present the moving play, Kindertransport, by Diane Samuels, October 30 – December 7 in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of Kindertransport, the program to rescue Jewish children and transport them out of Nazi Germany by train. Theatre Or will be at the Colorado Railroad Museum on October 14, with actors from the play to give you a sneak preview, accompanied by Peter Ney, one of four local Kindertransport participants. Mr. Ney, a former Colorado Court of Appeals Judge, is the author of Getting Here: From a Seat on the Train to a Seat on the Bench, and will give a short talk about Kindertransport, share his personal experience, and answer questions. This is an opportunity to get insight into history as well as learn about an upcoming, important community event.
Participation is included with daily admission and free to members. Limited spots are available.
