The trucks that will be under the B-8 are coming along nicely. We have replaced some wood and some metal fasteners to the one truck available for the B-8. We also have installed 4 ea. Muley keepers that we had cast new from our patterns with also newly cast lateral axel end brasses. This first truck will be going under one end of the B-8 soon. Then we can check coupler height and make any modifications required before building the second truck.
There's something amazing about trains. The familiar whistle has always promised adventure. The gentle rock of the rails has set the rhythm of our lives. Experience it again at the Colorado Railroad Museum with over 100 narrow and standard gauge steam and diesel locomotives, passenger cars, cabooses and G-scale garden railway on our 15-acre railyard.
