D&RGW Steam Locomotive No. 491

Staff and volunteers are working to fit D&RGW’s last steam line into place. Thanks to a Colorado State Historical Fund Grant D&RGW Steam Locomotive No. 491’s Tender has been completed. D&RGW K-37 Steam Locomotive No. 491 Certification

After months of hard work from the Colorado Railroad Museum’s Grant, Restoration & Volunteer staff we are proud to annouce that Denver & Rio Grande Western K-37 Steam Locomotive No. 491 has passed the State Annual Boiler Inspection earlier today!
