National Train Day May 11, 2013
Trains take us where we need to go, want to go. They remind us of what other lives seen only out the window look like. They employ our townspeople, bring passengers with a few extra dollars to spend into local coffee shops, draw activity to sleepy downtowns, attract funds to the roads and buildings around the stations. They bring us to school, to work, to visit a friend in need. They connect our towns together. They connect us to each other. They tell the American story.
And that is why trains matter to us all.
Join us on May 11, 2013 and celebrate the sixth annual National Train Day at the Colorado Railroad Museum.
Museum Members and Children under 2 are free, Children $5, Adults $15, Seniors $10 and Families $30.
Ride the Rails Saturdays

Train rides every Saturday. Catch a ride behind one of the Museum’s steam or diesel locomotives in passenger cars from different eras in Colorado railroad history or on the uniquely Colorado Galloping Goose. Rides operate 10:00AM to 4:00PM.
