Colorado Rails and Cocktails -
An Evening of Colorado History
Anna Lee Frohlich will tell the story of a 60-foot high monument dedicated to two of the Union Pacific’s greatest champions. It sits atop a hill in Wyoming and honors Oliver Ames and Oakes Ames, Anna Lee’s three-times great grandfather. This story culminates with the driving of the Golden Spike at Promontory Summit in 1869 and beyond.
