In 1978, Diane Rabson was the first woman in Pueblo, Colorado to operate locomotives for the D&RGW railroad. In this presentation, she will describe the little-known world of railroaders, the joys and difficulties of being a pioneer, and will relate some of the engaging stories of the “old heads” during the Rio Grande’s last years as a small railroad wedged between giants.

Admission for events: $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers. Advanced Tickets Required, 21 and older only. Doors open at 6:00pm for early enjoyment of attractions.
