Day Out With Thomas
September 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 & 27, 2015
Thomas the Tank Engine will be chugging into the Colorado Railroad Museum for the annual Day Out With Thomas event. All Thomas fans are invited to come spend the day with their favorite No. 1 engine. For 65 years, children have been captivated by the courageous adventures of Thomas and his engine friends.
A Day Out with Thomas is an exciting way for children and grown-ups to enter the world of Thomas & Friends. The event provides an opportunity for kids to ride on board a train led by Thomas & have their pictures taken with Sir Topham Hatt, the controller of Thomas’ railway. During his visit to the Colorado Railroad Museum Thomas the Tank Engine will speak as the train arrives and departs from the boarding area.
Admission includes access to Museum exhibits and model train layouts, and special Day Out With Thomas activities that include a petting zoo, temporary tattoos, Imagination Station (train table play area), sing-a-longs and a magic show!
Day Out with Thomas tickets are limited and advance purchase is highly recommended. Prime Time Tickets (10:00am-1:00pm) are $25 each, ages two and up. Standard Tickets (8:30am-9:15am & 1:45pm-4:45pm) are $20 each, ages two and up. Children under two (less than 24 months old) are free on a parent’s lap. While Museum members receive free general admission equal to their membership level, the Day Out with Thomas event is a Museum THEME Event and does not include a free ride. All children under 13 years of age must be accompanied on the train by at least one adult.
