Rides operate 10am to 3pm \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\nAdmission: Free. \nDue to the growing popularity of SCFD Free Days at the Colorado Railroad Museum\, all tickets for these dates must be reserved online in advance. In 2025\, the Museum was overwhelmed with guests arriving in the early morning for SCFD Free Days. Entry lines were long\, many train rides were delayed\, and the parking lot briefly overflowed as well. \nRequiring advance reservations for these popular events will help the Museum prevent long lines\, ensure parking availability\, and reduce entry delays by spreading crowds throughout the day.
