Know Before You Go: Masks are currently required to gain entry to the Museum Depot building and onboard train rides. Masks can be removed outdoors when groups are socially distanced. We recommend purchase of admission and train ride tickets in advance, as our overall Museum and Train Ride capacities have been reduced for the time being. Although regular Museum Admission and Train Rides are free for Museum Members, we suggest advance reservations regardless. Click Here for Advance Admission and Train Ride Ticketing.
For 2021, we will be operating open-air coaches pulled by a vintage diesel locomotive on most operating days. A steam locomotive may be substituted on selected dates! Our popular “Galloping Goose” rail motorcar will not be operating during the 2021 season due to ongoing concerns related to social distancing and COVID-19.
