It’s #TBT and for ThrowbackThursday this week we are sharing footage captured by Museum volunteer Michael McBride during the Colorado Railroad Museum’s “Mother Day Goose Fest” on May 10, 2009.

Staff and volunteers operated Rio Grande Southern “Galloping Goose” Motor Car Nos. 1, 2, 5, 6 & 7 for the event, which served as a precursor to the Museum’s 2012 “Goose Fest” event!

Do you have any “home movies” that feature the Colorado Railroad Museum or Colorado Railroads and you’d like to share it? Contact the Museum’s Multimedia Coordinator Matthew Isaacks at matthew@crrm.org.

In 2021 the Museum is operating socially distanced train rides each Saturday! Follow us on Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter.
