Wild West Day

June 22, Saturday

Gun Fight

Robberies, Rascals and Rides

Travel back to the days of the Wild West at the Colorado Railroad Museum on Saturday, June 22 from
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The story of Colorado’s railroads is one of perseverance, daring and ingenuity—it’s the story of settling and taming the Wild West.

Steam locomotives were revolutionary machines in their time and ushered in the last dusty days of the horse and wagon. This machinery allowed miners to transport gold, ranchers to ship livestock, farmers to deliver crops across the nation and continues to fascinate visitors, young and old.

At our Wild West Day event your whole family can catch a ride behind our 1880s steam locomotive in our vintage passenger cars and experience firsthand what it was like to travel in the Old West.

Don’t miss the opportunity to meet a whole slew of outlaws, lawmen, ladies and gentlemen from Monarch Productions and to watch as they bring the Wild West back to life with their famed, fast-draw contests, train robberies and sharpshooting exhibitions. Train rides depart every 30 minutes between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

So come aboard this wild, Wild West ride and Lose track of time.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance in our Online Store.
