D&RGW Steam Locomotive No. 346 Tender

CMO Report June 9, 2012 Locomotive No. 346 again has a tender behind it. The tender hasn’t yet been painted, but new coal boards are being fabricated, the back stop for the coal is in place and the tank wells are in place.

GC&SJ Switch Engine No. 4 and D&RGW Locomotive No. 346 Tender

CMO Report April 4, 2012 Switcher No.4 is complete with a H-14 air brake stand and a 6-ET distributing valve. We now are working on the fuel pump system for the Number #1 engine. We plan to add a hand brake soon also. The tender to 346 is also in stall 1. The Tank is Continue Reading »

Photo on left shows Switcher No.4 with nearly complete H-14 air brake stand and a 6ET distributing valve making the brake system the same as all the other diesel locomotives. Also in stall #1, the tender for Locomotive No. 346 is back with its frame and trucks.
